About the Role
GLOBAL. is looking for an International News Intern to support our editorial team in New York City. This full time, on site internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a strong interest in journalism, global affairs, and storytelling that makes world events accessible and meaningful.
In this role, the intern will research international developments, fact check reporting, track emerging news trends, and assist with the creation of compelling content across GLOBAL.’s editorial platforms. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, analytical, and excited to work in a fast paced newsroom environment where accuracy, clarity, and perspective matter.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
A student or recent graduate with a strong interest in journalism, international affairs, and global storytelling
A sharp researcher who can fact check information, synthesize developments, and identify what matters in a fast moving global news cycle
A strong writer and communicator who can make complex international issues clear, accurate, and engaging
Someone highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments under deadline
A collaborative team player eager to contribute to a dynamic editorial environment
Familiarity with digital research tools, publishing platforms, and social media trends
Interest in politics, history, economics, and the forces shaping world events
A proactive, curious, and motivated mindset grounded in fair, thoughtful, and responsible journalism
Availability to work on site in New York City
